Originally from Veracruz, Edith Sosa Bravo did her professional studies in Fisheries Engineering and began her working life in Quintana Roo in 1998, working at Xel-Ha Park as an Environmental Educator, until 2000.
She then worked at CEA as Coordinator of the Environmental Education Program and helped in the Marine Turtle Program, as well.
In mid-2002, Edith concluded her work at CEA to return to Veracruz to get her master’s degree in Aquaculture, specializing in mollusk farming.
Upon finishing her master’s, she worked at the Instituto Tecnológico de Boca del Río, Veracruz, as head of the Histological Laboratory and, in 2006, she returned to Quintana Roo, to work again at CEA, now as Coordinator of the Water Quality Program.
